Imagined Theatres 03 (“Open”)

For the third issue of the online journal edited by Daniel Sack, I glossed Holly Gabelmann’s imagined theatre “From Here to There”.

My gloss attempts to bring out resonances from Gabelmann’s piece with the Saw movie franchise, Leonid Andreyev’s Symbolist play Requiem (1917), and Samuel Beckett’s oeuvre.
